Orlando World Outreach Center

Tim Johnson, Senior Pastor

Tim Johnson has an eclectic and rich history. A graduate of Penn State University with All-American honors and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and speech communication, he was drafted into the NFL where he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers (1987-1989), Washington Redskins (1990-1995), and retired from the Cincinnati Bengals (1997).

During his decade in the NFL, Tim’s love for God and people compelled him to serve in his local church as an usher, children’s teacher, life group leader and eventually as an elder. As an ordained minister in 2000, Tim along with his family moved to Nashville, TN to be the Senior Associate Pastor of Bethel Word Outreach Center, a large multicultural, multi-congregational church. In 2005, he became the Senior Pastor. A year later, Tim and his wife, Le’Chelle, were inspired to launch Orlando World Outreach Center in Orlando, FL.

Tim’s history as Senior Pastor, his study and teaching in the Every Nation Leadership Institute, completion of Every Nation Pastors School and studies at Reformed Theological Seminary, have given him invaluable experience in pioneering innovative discipleship based ministries, church planting operations and leading a multi-cultural, multi-generational congregation.
